We lost our mother on February 5 this year. She grew up in an orphanage in Memphis, Tennessee with 5 siblings. She left there to pursue her love of country music, and met my father along the way. They married and had 5 children. She loved her family more than anything, loved country music, poker, Matt Dillon, and Superstition Mountain. We love you, and we'll miss you, Mom. |

Your mom must have been one cool lady. You inherited her beauty and her talents!! Do you play poker? I didn't know your mom but your words make me wish I had spent time with her....singing over a few hands of poker. I'm pretty sure your mom and my mom would have been great friends! They had much in common.
