4 Things You Can Still Do in Your Fifties

File:50plus.svgA fifty-something friend of mine shared with me some good news. She's getting married! We jumped and cried like kids for the pure joy of it. We discussed how much fun we've had since turning 50. Got me thinking...

1.You can still pursue your dreams:) Box up all those old accomplishments and stick 'em up in a closet for your grandchildren to oooh and ahhh over some day. Brush off and polish up all those dreams and go after them!

2. You can still start fresh.  Like Anne of Green Gables said, "Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it." The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Make things right, start over, TODAY!

3. You can still have fun. My friend Yolie went mountain climbing with her family this weekend. She hadn't gone in 20 years. She's as sore as all get out today, but she had fun! Try something new. I mean it. Right now.

4. You can still learn something new. I've been watching some 50-somethings take computer classes this week. Always wanted to learn a foreign language, fly a plane, cook gourmet? Do it. Why not?

I bet you can add to this list. Go ahead. I can't wait:)

  1. You can still say, "I'm sorry".

You can still be a kid at heart.

You can still fall madly in love, only this time, it may be with your grandkid.

You can still live life to its fullest.

You can still stop a bad habit and start a good one.

You can still be all that you can be!

  2. You can surrender to the call God placed on your life and go places in Him you never visited before.
